My name is Jesse Wachtel. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in American Culture Studies, focusing on the global and domestic impact that visual media has on various cultures, groups, and individuals.

I love to draw and create art. In my work, I often juxtapose anime and manga characters with various backgrounds and scenes, creating new worlds and landscapes. I also work with charcoal, as well as mixed media.

All of these interests have allowed me to study animation, graphic design, and character design throughout my life. I am extremely passionate about anime and manga, and the massive impact that these mediums have in the world today.
